Jonay is a rapper and producer from Sweden, who has been involved with music ever since the age of twelve. Some of his influences include LL Cool J and Timbaland, both who he admires for their unique style. Jonay has made his first mixtape "The Darker The Sky Is The Brighter The Stars Shine" available to download for free via his website. The mixtape was produced entirely by Jonay, including collaborations with producer DJ Breakdown. Here are two tracks off the mixtape that I thought I'd post. The first track is titled "Whatcha Wanna Do" and the second is titled "Fly Away." Both songs sound really unique and you can definitely hear influences from Timbaland, as Jonay uses his own style of Bhangra beats on some of his tracks.
